About Emma
Emma Nilsson is a Southern California Native. Growing up in Ventura County, she would spend her weekend's surfing and photographing the Malibu Beaches. From Zero's across to Leo, she was always at the water's edge. Then, she left Malibu for downtown Los Angeles, where she received a Bachelors in Arts with honors from the University of Southern California, focusing on photography and intermedia. While there, she was a member of the Sidney Harman Academy of Polymathic Study. Following university, she completed two art shows and an artist residency in Oaxaca, Mexico; where Emma realized her true passion for architecture and connecting with people.
Emma spent many years working in production and at the Malibu film office until finally joining the Damon Skelton Group here at Compass in Malibu. With her expertise in fine arts and architecture, Emma is excited to offer clients the kind of luxury service and keen eye they need when looking for their dream home. With a production background, her work ethic and attention to detail help her clients feel at ease. She intends to make the complex road of buying a home both enjoyable and straightforward with kindness and integrity.
