In October 2025, the Elkin Team closed on 12120 New Suffolk Avenue for $11.2 million, establishing the record for the highest single-family home sale in the North Fork's modern history. Just three months later, in January 2026, they surpassed their own benchmark with the sale of "The Old Field," 59600 Main Road in Southold — a single-lot waterfront estate surrounded by vineyards — which closed for $12.3 million. The Elkin Team also holds the record for the highest single-lot sale on Nassau Point in Cutchogue, at $8 million.

Eric's path to real estate was preceded by eight years in the tech industry, first in San Francisco and later in New York City, before he and Bridget made the deliberate decision to put down roots on the North Fork in 2014. Together, they owned and operated a boutique inn in Greenport, an experience that deepened their connection to the community and sharpened their instincts for hospitality and service. After the arrival of their daughter, Remy, Eric transitioned fully into real estate, channeling his entrepreneurial drive and market acumen to build one of the region's most recognized teams.

In March 2021, Eric and Bridget were recruited by Compass as Founding Agents in the North Fork market, a move aligned with their strategic, technology-forward approach and commitment to providing clients with best-in-class marketing, data, and global reach. Eric has been named one of "America's Best" real estate professionals by RealTrends,  an honor reserved for the top 1.5% of the nation's 1.4 million licensed agents.
