About Erica

Erica Taylor, “Agent Ambassador” and an Associate Broker with Compass, epitomizes energy, hard work, integrity, and dedication in every detail of her Profession.

Erica believes by educating her clients, they’ll be comfortable, confident, and knowledgeable through their home buying or selling process. For several years, Erica has taught the 1st Time Home Buyers Course. This course helped new potential homebuyers understand their step-by-step process.  She has taught the new incoming Realtors at the New Member Orientation Class, elected to serve on the Realtors Association of Acadiana, Board of Directors and will be the 2026 President for the Realtor Association of Acadiana.   

Erica’s journey started out in the Cosmetology Industry, which lasted for 15 years and still holds an active license in that field. She knew that her love and ambition to connect with people of all ages was an infectious part of her life. A few years later, she attended Champion School of Real Estate in Texas and received her license. She later attended Burke Baker School of Real Estate and Appraisal in Louisiana and received her license there as well. Two years later, Erica went back to school and received her Broker’s License.  Throughout the years, she has obtained several designations: Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), At Home with Diversity, Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), New Home Construction Specialist and EPro.

Erica’s a member of the Realtor Association of Acadiana, Louisiana Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She’s been serving the community and industry for 20 years.  She currently serves on 16 committees on the local and state level. Her love and compassion for this job is shown throughout every conversation and every guided step of this process.

Erica is an experienced Real Estate Agent who truly understands the industry of buying, selling, leasing, new construction and investing in Real Estate. 

Her relationship with her clients lasts beyond the closing of their homes.
