About Erin

Erin and her husband, Kevin, are principal members of Team McGinnis. For years, they have been named in the "Best Realtor" category of the Marin Independent Journal's Readers' Choice Poll.  Licensed since 2007, they are based in the Novato office of Compass, and their deep knowledge of the local community gives them a powerful advantage in successfully evaluating the area’s homes. Erin and Kevin McGinnis are consistently among the top real estate agents in Novato.

One of Erin's strengths is helping homeowners prepare their homes for sale. Erin not only holds her real estate license, but she is also an accredited home stager and she stages all of Team McGinnis' listings as part of their team's unmatched customer service. As a result, Team McGinnis' listings are among the best-presented on the market.

Both Erin and Kevin entered the real estate industry after careers in television news. In fact, she and Kevin met at KTVU- Channel 2 while she was earning her Masters Degree in Journalism from UC Berkeley and Kevin was a producer for "Mornings on 2." Their excellent communication skills serve them well in real estate.

Erin and Kevin have three children. Erin actively supports Novato schools. She has served as a Girl Scout troop leader, "cookie mom," and is a former board member of the Novato Mothers' Club.
