Flavia Caltabiano

Though she was born in New York, Flavia Caltabiano is Brazilian and lived most of her life in Sao Paulo, Brazil before moving to South Florida 13 years ago. She traveled to South Florida many times while growing up in Brazil, and she is excited to see the amount of growth and change for the better happening in the South Florida market. For over eight years, she has been working in real estate from Miami up to Palm Beach County.

While in Brazil, Flavia’s family owned car dealerships where she worked for many years while learning about sales and the luxury market, She has traveled all around the world not only for leisure, but also with the big automakers like Toyota/Lexus, GM, Land Rover, Ford, Fiat, Mercedes Benz, and BMW/Mimi Cooper. Prior to her real estate career, she also had experience working in the loan department of a bank. Now, she specializes in residential real estate and helping her clients relocate to the beautiful South Florida areas from Coral Gables to Palm Beach. She is a reliable agent and trusted advisor to her clients, who often seek her expertise and advise on relocating their family to South Florida. She is working with Cintia Thormann on the Thormann and Caltabiano Group at Compass.

Flavia loves to help people and is involved with several non-profit organizations in Brazil. One organization, Lecomigo, hosts yearly expeditions to bring books and stimulate kids to read in low-income public schools throughout the most remote places in Brazil. She also helps Aliança de Misericordia, a non-profit association that works with the objective of social, educational, professional and family reintegration for the homeless population, families living in slums, and children and adolescents in situations of personal and social risk. The organization’s primary objective is the recovery of human dignity in those who are in a position of social exclusion; to be a bridge of mercy among people of good will and the needy and excluded.

After studying economics and marketing in Brazil and receiving her real estate degree in Florida, Flavia is equipped to assist her clients with finding their dream home or selling an investment. In her free time, she enjoys the South Florida lifestyle and being outdoors with her animals and her kids. Flavia is fluent in Portuguese and English and conversational in Spanish and Italian. She currently resides in Plantation with her family.
