About Forrest

Born and raised on Chicago’s North Shore, Forrest was born with real estate in his blood. His parents, Joanne and Steve Hudson, founded The Hudson Company in 2001 and after 18 successful years merged the company into Compass in 2018. Forrest was surrounded by real estate discussions at home most of his life and is very knowledgeable about the North Shore and Chicago markets. He understands what’s important in real estate when representing clients on both the buy and sell side.

Forrest believes that the most important attributes in a real estate broker is integrity and a strong work ethic and works diligently for his clients. Forrest’s other strengths include his patience with clients, his strong listening and problem solving skills and his ability to educate others through clear and concise communication, all of which are valuable assets in residential real estate brokerage. Forrest is also proficient in social media and the latest Compass tools which benefit his clients greatly.

One of Forrest’s passions is his concern for our environment. In 2011, he co-founded the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) Youth Corp, an environmental cleanup group. He is also a big believer that we can make an environmental difference in real estate through sustainable construction, renewable energy and conservation of our natural resources. When he’s not working you can find Forrest in the great outdoors camping, hiking, snowboarding or mountain biking.

Forrest joined as a licensed Real Estate Broker in 2019 after working part time as an assistant at The Hudson Company. Forrest is a member of Joanne Hudson’s team of dedicated brokers.
