Fran Slade

Fran Slade is a licensed Realtor with Compass serving buyers and sellers throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Southern Maryland. Licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC since 2012, Fran has successfully closed more than 163 real estate transactions representing over $115 million in career sales volume. She specializes in helping first-time home buyers, relocation clients, military and VA buyers, luxury home clients, waterfront property buyers and sellers, and homeowners looking to maximize their return when selling.

Fran joined Compass in 2025 after spending 12 successful years with another real estate firm. Prior to her real estate career, she worked in sales, marketing, management, and customer relations for Beam Global, where she developed the communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills that continue to benefit her clients today. Her commitment to professionalism, market expertise, and client advocacy has earned her recognition as a Northern Virginia Magazine Top Producer, Washingtonian Top Producer, and a recipient of the America's Top 100 Real Estate Agents Award every year since 2019.

Fran serves clients throughout Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax County, Prince William County, Washington, DC, Calvert County, St. Mary's County, and Charles County. Her firsthand relocation experience gives her unique insight into the challenges faced by individuals and families moving to the Washington metropolitan region. Originally from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, she relocated to Alexandria, Virginia in 2008 and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the area's neighborhoods, lifestyle opportunities, waterfront communities, and housing market.

In her spare time, Fran enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Murphy and Maui.  They like to go boating with the dogs of course, water sports, golfing, pickleball, and exercising.
