"You're not going to find a real estate agent who is more honest or harder working than Gabi Leite. I would absolutely hire her again. Even before I started looking for a house, she helped me to prepare by telling me about different neighborhoods, helping me to develop reasonable expectations, and encouraging me to line up financing. She spent many hours with me even before I began to look for a home in earnest. Once it came time to find a house, Gabi sent me listings (both on- and off-market), went to a dozen open houses with me, and helped me to find several homes that I loved. She helped me to bid as high as was reasonable on the houses I did like, but not overbid. Some realtors might encourage you to bid as high as possible, since the higher the bid the more money they make. But not Gabi. She has honest and wants you to be happy in your new home more than she wants to make an extra buck. Over the several months that I searched for my dream home, Gabi spent dozens on dozens of hours with me, both over the phone and in person. I told her I felt bad about how much time I took from her but she ensured me that she was happy to do all she could to help me. And boy did she help. What most impressed me about Gabi is that we were able to work together to solve problems--from bidding wars to financing problems to negotiating concessions--in such a way that I felt we did our collective best. She acted as a counselor, providing me with all the information I needed to make the best decision possible. And she was firm with her advice when she needed to be. That firmness saved me from several possible pitfalls, such as bidding on a house that was a big teardown risk (you never know what's inside the walls, and she found moisture during an open house that may have rotted the structural wood away!) Gabi helped me to find and secure my dream home at a price much lower than I expected (how often do you hear that in this market?).
