Born in Kingston, New York, Gayle loved the beautiful rolling hills and views of the Hudson River but was not fond of the cold winters. Moving to Charlotte over forty years ago, Gayle found her forever home with mild seasons, proximity to the beach and mountains and the friendliest people she had ever met!
Lucky enough to have two fantastic careers, Gayle started out as a teacher and reading specialist in Montgomery County MD Public Schools and later a third and fourth grade teacher at Charlotte Latin School. Her second career evolved from her love of homes and decorating. Over the years, she and her husband, Steve, bought and renovated multiple homes while working and raising their two boys. They had vision and could see the potential in every home. It was a natural segue into a successful real estate career. Twenty- seven years and hundreds of sales later she is still selling and loving real estate. She approaches each transaction with honesty and integrity while keeping her clients' needs as her number one priority. She loves helping sellers prepare and stage their home for showings and considers it her mission to find the “perfect” home for her buyers.
In 2020, she transitioned again and joined the Becky McGrath Team. Becky and Gayle were a natural fit sharing a love of home décor and renovations and a client centered focus with a consultative approach to working with clients. Joining forces allows them to provide even more exceptional client service in this busy and competitive real estate market.
