About Gene
2024 kicks off Gene Montemore's 23rd year in Arizona real estate, a successful blend residential property and vacant land experience.

During his career, Gene has closed over 1,000 transactions focusing on the McCormick Ranch / Central Scottsdale submarket and raw land, infill property, and single-family lots across Maricopa and Pinal Counties. Gene proudly refers to McCormick Ranch as the greatest neighborhood in Scottsdale with its trademark greenbelts, lakes, and A+ school, making it an uncommonly different place to live, work, and play. With a residential hyper-focus on McCormick Ranch, Gene leads a couple of community-based activities, including a neighborhood social media site that includes over 8,500 residents, and as former President and longtime board member of McCormick Ranch Little League. He proudly supports Cochise Elementary, Cocopah Middle School, and Chaparral High School. This deep community knowledge, involvement, and conviction has resulted in an ever-increasing market share and several record-breaking sales in McCormick Ranch. In the land market, areas of specialization include Central Scottsdale, PV, and Arcadia buyer site selection and seller representation, teardown/infill redevelopment opportunities, and county-wide raw land & subdivisions. By thoroughly understanding the local land market, the insight Gene brings to his residential clients is indispensable and is rarely replicated by the average real estate professional. Gene has reached Arizona Top 10, US Top 100, and Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement Awards at his two previous companies.

Launch | Compass appealed to Gene for its stock of high-producing agents, united branding, and marketplace perception. While with Launch | Compass, Gene has established an Executive Director role and routinely ranks in the top 1% in Maricopa County by sales volume. Armed with an obsession for thoughtful marketing and a desire to make every transaction a positive experience, Gene brings an experienced, enthusiastic, educational approach to every deal, keeping friction in the background and the joyous experience front and center. Gibbstown, NJ will always be ""home. After attending West Virginia University, Gene relocated to Arizona and has been a Scottsdale resident ever since. He will always bleed WVU Old Gold & Blue, and will never hide his love for Philly sports, culture, and food. Gene is a 20-year resident of McCormick Ranch where he lives with his wife Amanda, an accomplished Interior Designer. They have two boys: Marco, a University of Oregon student who takes part in the UofO Jazz Ensemble, and Luca, a 3C's student who participates in Student Government and baseball.
