About George

Hello and welcome! Thank you so much for exploring these pages of my website. I hope you find the content here useful and informative. Here is a little bit about me. I am a full-time REALTOR having just joined Compass and I am licensed in the District of Columbia and Maryland. I have been in real estate sales for over 10 years and I enjoy helping clients fulfill their real estate goals. My expertise includes helping purchasers navigate the home buying process and helping sellers to best present their homes for maximum return through staging and design consultation. I also have extensive knowledge of the short-term rental business and I'm able to advise real estate entrepreneurs on getting the most out of their investment properties. I am a member of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), The District of Columbia Association of REALTORS (DCAR) and the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS (GCAAR).

Prior to entering real estate, I enjoyed a successful career in television and media, last serving as Vice President of Affiliate Sales & Marketing for TV One, an entertainment and lifestyle network. I also spent several years working in affiliate sales at Discovery Networks (Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet). I am a graduate of Brown University and I'm involved in the Brown Alumni Association of Washington, DC. I've been a resident of the District of Columbia for over 20 years and love living in the nation's capital.

I live in the Hill East neighborhood on Capitol Hill in a multi-unit home that includes a successful Airbnb that I enjoy managing as well as hosting guests from around the world. In my personal time, I enjoy tennis, skiing, bicycling, gardening, and taking long walks with my dog Sonny.
