A native son of Wisconsin, George spent the first half of his life in Milwaukee, WI before attending UW-Madison and making Madison his chosen home. A self-described "super-generalist", George brings a unique mix of competence and creativity to his endeavors.
Professionally, George played an integral part in the growth of two successful Madison startups serving as employee #3 at BlueTree Network (acquired by Providence St. Joseph in 2019) and employee #6 at Redox ($100m in VC funding with revenues exceeding $180m as of 2024). He has built core operational processes, led teams, and managed multimillion dollar budgets.
Beyond his high-growth tech startup experience, George is a proud former employee of Madison icons Batch Bakehouse, Context Clothing, and a founding member of 100State, a coworking space.

George lives on Madison's west side with his wife, Julia Zehel, daughter Violet, and two ragdoll cats. When not working, you can find him on his bike enjoying all Madison has to offer.
