Giovanna Kennedy

Giovanna's journey began in Lima, Peru, where she was born and raised, receiving a bilingual education in both English and Spanish. Her first encounter with Aspen was during her winter break in 2000, while she was an undergraduate pursuing an Industrial Engineering degree. Captivated by the town and its community, she decided to make Aspen her permanent home. Giovanna initially embarked on a career in banking before transitioning into luxury hospitality, all while obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Her dedication and talent were recognized with the 'Club of Excellence: Silver Star Worldwide Award,' and by 2020, she had become the Director of Services at the Hyatt Residence Club Grand Aspen. That same year, driven by a lifelong passion to make a positive impact and help others achieve their goals, Giovanna decided to channel her expertise and networks into real estate. As a Colorado Real Estate Broker, she takes pride in delivering the real estate results her clients deserve, stating, "Watching my clients successfully achieve their goals is undoubtedly the most rewarding work I have ever done."

Beyond her real estate endeavors, Giovanna is deeply involved in the Aspen Valley community. Her philanthropic efforts focus on education, health, and housing. She serves on the Board of Directors for the City of Glenwood Springs Chamber and Chairs the Latino Business Advisory Council.  She also contributes monthly educational real estate articles to "Sol del Valle," the valley's first Spanish-language newspaper. Her past roles have included serving on the Glenwood Springs Housing Commission, WindWalkers Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy Center. and the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Additionally, she established and chaired the St. Stephen Catholic School Annual Gala and was the PTA Chair for six years. Giovanna also played a role in the 'Wine Women and Shoes' and 'Day of Rosé' events, supporting the Shining Stars Foundation.

When not engaged with the community, Giovanna cherishes time with her family, who are her daily inspiration. Their successes and support continually inspire her.
