"Do you want a professional, trustworthy, and compassionate realtor to be responsible for your needs during a time of great stress, turmoil, and change? Well, Grace Watson is the person for you. Having unexpectedly lost my aunt, who treated me like her only daughter for my entire life, in May 2015, I was assigned to be the personal representative for her estate (of course she did not yet have a will). Emotionally devastated, I was unable to bring myself to my aunt’s vacation home as much as I knew I should have done in order to prepare it for the market. I could not bear to think of someone else other than my aunt and my family spending summers there or living there. Grace came to my rescue. She listened to me vent, while also giving me advice on how to fix the place up. She went so far as to stage the rooms for me to make the house look more like the Cape than my aunt’s unique style of decorating. Unfortunately for me, her staging of furniture and decorative accessories made me want to be able to keep the house even more, but most assuredly enticed prospective buyers to take more than one look at the home. Furthermore, Grace communicated with the estate lawyer, explained legal aspects and procedures of selling the home to me, and worked within deadlines. She organized the installation of the new septic system, let an electrician into the home to perform upgrades, asked her husband to mow the yard a few times, and even went to a nearby hardware store to look for a kitchen fan. Her support went above and beyond anything I expected, but certainly needed. Her dedication to selling the home while also attending to my needs was a Godsend.
