About Gretchen

Gretchen Wichlinski is an Associate Broker with Compass and has over 12 years of experience helping her clients on the beautiful Eastern Shore in Maryland.  Prior to joining Compass, Gretchen gained experience as a Realtor with a family owned, local brokerage where she honed her real estate skills and became a top producing agent in the area.

Before becoming a Realtor, Gretchen had a career in law enforcement at the local level and ultimately became a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service. Due to her career in law enforcement, Gretchen has moved from New York, to North Carolina, to finally settling down in Centreville, Maryland.

Gretchen’s understanding of the stressors involved in relocating, as well as her commitment to providing special attention to her clients, sets her apart as a dedicated and trusted agent. Her experience can help alleviate any apprehensions involved in buying and selling a home.

As a full-time Realtor, Gretchen works with buyers, sellers and investors in real estate transactions spanning all price ranges and property types. Gretchen prides herself in being your local, trusted agent and shares her love of the Eastern Shore with her clients. 

Outside of the office, Gretchen is an active volunteer at her children's schools and within her church. She believes it is important to give back and make a positive impact to her community beyond her professional life. In her free time, Gretchen enjoys participating in local running and ultra marathon events with her husband and three children.
