Gus Perry

Gus Perry brings his professionalism and a keen ability to motivate to his position as Senior Sales Manager of the Compass Upper West Side office. With nearly four decades in the real estate industry, he possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the business, savvy marketing skills, and an ability to inspire and maximize the potential of agents. This is evident in his previous experience where he built the leading real estate company in Northern Manhattan and in his personal experience as a property owner and investor. Gus has a sharp ability to train and produce successful agents, develop and improve sales networks, coordinate marketing campaigns, and motivate agents to their best ability. In his previous experiences, Gus has transacted many facets of real estate, including land, townhouses, new development, sales/ rentals of co-ops & condominiums, parking garages, professional and commercial leases. He has coordinated all aspects of sales processes, including financing, legal, board approval while maintaining active troubleshooting and negotiating involvement through closing. Gus also served as a consultant to sponsors and co-op corporations, including marketing, legal, shareholders relations, renovation, green technology and pricing. The skills acquired in completing those tasks successfully, position him to assist his agents in troubleshooting and problem solving issues as they arise. In addition, Gus’ skills were honed during his involvement in the founding of a community bank, Savoy Bank, where he was an organizer and sat on the board. In his spare time, he enjoys music, dancing, golf, biking and swimming.
