About Jordan
My first job working at a popular local restaurant chain taught me many things, but first and foremost was that being of service is at the core of everything that drives me. While I didn’t stay in the restaurant industry after college, I have taken the lessons of how delivering great service can add immeasurable value to an experience with me throughout my career. It’s these lessons that excite me about joining the Compass family and leveraging my prior service experience to help people through the process of buying or selling a home in the East Bay.
My past experience in the healthcare industry gave me the opportunity to hone my communication, project management, organization and negotiating skills to navigate complex projects to completion. After pursuing a BS in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Florida and an MBA from The Florida State University, I’ve spent the last 15 years as a project manager, implementing complex technology solutions designed to improve the lives and outcomes of patients while making technology-enabled medicine easier for physicians to deliver.
When I am not working, you’ll find me outside, it’s by far my favorite way to appreciate the rich and diverse culture that our neighborhoods have to offer. I am also a regular of the many trails weaving through the East Bay and enjoy being able to escape the energy of The Town and be surrounded by nature. I am passionate about cooking, food and eating and love finding new local restaurants that in my mind define East Bay living.
I grew up on the East Coast (Long Island) until I was 10 and then in North Florida through graduate school. After school, I lived in Boston for 5 years before finally coming to my senses and heading west to Oakland in 2013 where I've been ever since.
