Harold and Treva Noriega's 19 year old son Cooper passed away on June 9, 2022 from Fentanyl poisoning approximately two weeks from his 20th birthday. Cooper was a famous social media personality and influencer known throughout the world and used the power of his social media reach to create a meaningful and lasting impact. Coop created the "Coop’s Advice" Discord channel as a platform to help others like himself, GenZ and GenAlpha to have a safe place to share their personal struggles with mental health and addiction. Additionally Coop reached out and created a collaboration with the non-profit EndOverdose to help support their mission for the public training and distribution of Naloxone / Narcan at no cost. The Coop's Advice Foundation will continue to pursue Cooper’s mission of trying to help and save lives with continued awareness and education about the dangers of Fentanyl and other unhealthy and negative choices to deal with the underlying issues of mental health. Coop’s life and work shined a light on the urgent need to destigmatize addiction and support comprehensive mental health, and the Coop’s Advice Foundation will ensure that light continues to shine.
