Charity
Community Service is very important to me. During the pandemic, I participated, along with two other friends, in hosting food drives for the Food Insecure families and seniors right here in our community. We did this also for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission and Alpha House in Bridgeport. I continue to be a volunteer for the Community Kitchen for Operation Hope that serves lunch and dinner 5 days per week.
Operation Hope provides individuals and families the opportunity to experience transformative change. By addressing basic needs for food and shelter, as well as offering long-term solutions to hunger and homelessness, including affordable housing, life skills training and personalized clinical support, we help people reach their potential in an environment where compassion inspires dignity and hope.
We envision a time when every person in our community has supportive relationships, hope for the future, and a place to call home.
