"We had worked with another agent for about 6 months before working with Hilary. We were first-time homebuyers in a very hot market (2021/2022) and just had the wrong strategy with our first agent: spread ourselves very wide and hope for the best. We didn't really know what we wanted nor did we know that have too many options was actually a bad thing. We finally threw in the towel and found Hilary. Within a day she gave us homework: drive to these neighorhoods, see these open houses, and explore. Report back on what you like (and don't) and we can go from there. Within a week we narrowed down our needs and neighborhoods to two. She helped us think about where we are in our lives and that we probably don't need to plan 30 years out. A few days later, she lined up a few showings, many of which were pre-market (which was essential and not something our first agent was able to find/coordinate). Most of the houses were good but just not quite "it" for us. Then we walked into the fourth or fifth house and it spoke to us. This is a testament to Hilary because as we went through the first few, she even crossed others off the list based on our feedback; she also circled the house we ended up purchasing before we even saw it. The process was smooth and Hilary and her team were with us along the way--a huge asset, especially to first time buyers. Finally, after we rented back to the sellers for three months, we found a leak in the sink upon moving in. Hilary went to bat for us and the sink was fixed--good as new--within 48 hours of our first moving box hitting the living room floor. I can't say enough good things about Hilary and her team. It's certainly the first experience I've had as a client that felt like it was out of a cheesy commercial--you know, where people invite their financial advisor to Thanksgiving or something?
