"I could not be happier with my experience working with Holden Lewis and Compass Realty. We sold a beautiful modern home in Inman Square with Holden as our listing agent. Holden did an incredible job pricing our home to both minimize time on the market as well as maximize value. Holden chose a great photographer, coordinated the photo shoot (and personally staged and art directed), designed excellent marketing materials, and hosted open houses on back-to-back-to-back nights. All this hard work in a very short period of time culminated in a competitive bidding process, a quickly agreed upon offer, and a fast painless close. Additionally, when we weren't able to get back to Boston in-person between signing and close, Holden went above-and-beyond to make sure everything got done without a hitch"" - TJ Parker & Kirsten N, Somerville

"Holden is amazing! We worked with Holden in our search for a house to help us move from Seattle to Boston. Through his help, guidance and support, we now live in our dream home in Arlington, MA. Holden and his partner Debbie are great listeners, highly responsive (we will be forever grateful to Holden for spending his birthday with us this year!), and the team consistently went the extra mile at every stage to make sure we got where we needed to get to. In particular, Holden has a ton of knowledge on what to look for in a house, to spot potential hidden costs and prevent surprises. This knowledge helped ensure that we had as accurate an assessment on the true value of a house as possible, which enabled clear-eyed decision-making when it came to making offers. The team also helped us put together compelling offer structures that ultimately enabled us to secure our home, despite extremely challenging market conditions. Overall, we can’t recommend Holden and Debbie highly enough to anyone looking to find the right home in this competitive market." - Phil & Chelsea E, Arlington

"Navigating the Boston real estate market is a bit like going whitewater rafting; if you want to make it through class five rapids, you need an excellent guide with knowledge, experience, and adaptability. And there’s no better person to navigate the wild waters of Boston’s real estate market than Holden Lewis!

We met Holden rather serendipitously, while gingerly dipping our toes into home-buying. Within minutes, he understood our aesthetic vision and offered a lot of great advice. Over the next few weeks, we visited a few homes together, discussing in great detail what we liked / didn’t like about the house. With every home we saw, Holden taught us so much about the home buying process, and we soon felt comfortable enough to balance preferences around location, size, design, and price when looking at listings.

When we saw homes we were interested in, Holden helped us understand what a competitive bid might look like, to temper expectations, particularly when factoring in for any needed (or desired) renovations. He also has exceptional relational capabilities, and this came in handy when preparing our bid, as he was able to gather additional information and help us adjust the bid accordingly. Holden also brought Eirinn in to help us with our search and bid, and with their support, we crafted a successful proposal, with many back-and-forths and close guidance on their part. Not only that, but he also helped guide us through the financing process, and even preparing for home renovations.

"Working with Holden was a true pleasure. I was downsizing from a large house in Watertown and he showed me a range of condos in the Boston area. He was quick to figure out what I was looking for -- but nothing seemed quite right. When I found a funky building I liked with very little turnover that had no condos officially for offer, he put out his feelers for me --and discovered several condos to view that weren't yet on the market!! He was very enterprising.....and I bought one of those units! Holden was professional, courteous, smart, and helpful." - Laurie K, Watertown
