About Hunter
A longtime Manhattan resident and property owner, Hunter Hulshizer has called the Upper East Side home for over 30 years and currently lives in Carnegie Hill. He brings an insider’s understanding of New York City, an entrepreneurial background, and a highly personal approach to residential real estate.
Hunter is a longtime member of the Christine Miller Martin Team at Compass, one of the top small teams in New York City by sales volume and among the top 1% of teams nationwide. Hunter is especially proud to be part of her team and brings its experience, resources, market knowledge, and collaborative approach to every client relationship.

Raised in Short Hills, New Jersey, Hunter attended The Pingry School and Denison University. Before entering real estate, he pursued several entrepreneurial ventures, including owning and operating a restaurant and live-music venue on the Upper East Side. That experience strengthened the listening, negotiating, problem-solving, and personal-service skills that continue to shape the way he works with clients today.
Outgoing, caring, loyal, and a good listener, Hunter believes real estate is ultimately about people and relationships. He takes the time to understand what matters most to his clients and approaches every transaction with discretion, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to their goals.
Hunter also had the honor of serving as an Auxiliary Lieutenant with the NYPD’s Midtown South Precinct in the heart of Times Square, an experience he found deeply meaningful and incredibly gratifying. He has volunteered with Ronald McDonald House New York and remains active with his alumni organizations.
Outside of real estate, Hunter enjoys Manhattan’s restaurant scene, traveling, and golf, and is an avid Yankees fan.
