Schooling and a career in journalism took Imke to Milan, Paris, Moscow, Berlin and New York City, to name a few. Imke resides in Westport with her husband and two sons. She is Westport town's appointed

representative for the Westport Public Art collection, district Saugatuck, and holds the PTA chair for the "Zero Waste" committee at Saugatuck Elementary School. In her free time, Imke enjoys being with family, hiking, sailing, skiing, visiting art exhibitions and exploring New England.
