Much like New York City itself, the 11 members of Indigo Team bring a rich diversity of experience, an irrepressible energy, and an undying passion for real estate (and each other).

Led by Sara Brown, Will Wu-Chen, and Picasso Aponte, the three first joined forces at their previous brokerage, where they established themselves as new development experts and were the highest-producing team in 2019.

They were thrilled to bring their partnership to Compass, which gave them an unmatched combination of leading tech tools, world-class luxury marketing, and a strong national network of like-minded agents with which to partner.

“Having all these incredible resources is so empowering to us as agents and really sets us free to spend more time directly with clients,” says Will, a former competitive tennis player.

As Brooklyn specialists—with a sweet spot in Greenpoint, Williamsburg and Bushwick—Indigo Team prides itself on its hunger, honesty, and humility. As Phil Jackson observed, “The key to success is compassion.”

While hard-working and results-driven are Indigo trademarks, team members are known for not taking themselves too seriously. “Clients find us personable and knowledgeable. When working with us, we want someone to feel at ease during the entire experience.” says Sara.

Beyond their extensive new development expertise, the team has also developed a niche with first-time buyers. “We love working with them,” says Picasso, who was born and raised in Bed-Stuy. “We know being first-time buyers is inherently stressful. Our goal is to educate and empower our clients to make the most informed decision.”

Put another way, client relationships are at the heart of it all. “Every client is unique, and so is every transaction,” notes Sara. “It starts with listening, really listening, then becoming a true advocate for them. We want every client to feel they’re part of the Indigo family.”
