About Isil
Isil has over a dozen years of experience representing buyers and sellers of co-ops, condominiums, and townhouses across New York City.  Frequently invited to speak on New York City real estate markets and quoted in leading publications, Isil is known for her deep market knowledge, strategic advice, exceptional negotiation skills, and expertise in co-op board applications and approvals.  A Yale University graduate and former litigation attorney, she brings analytical rigor and tenacious advocacy to every transaction, representing everyone from experienced investors to first-time homebuyers. 

Originally from Turkey, Isil grew up in Texas before building her career in New York City. After earning a BA in Political Science from Yale University and a law degree from The University of Texas, she practiced as a white collar criminal defense and securities litigator. After six years, she chose to transition from resolving disputes and minimizing negative outcomes to helping clients navigate one of life's most important milestones in pursuit of their goals and dreams. Real estate proved to be the perfect fit, combining strategic advocacy with the opportunity to build long-term relationships. Her legal background remains invaluable, informing her analytical approach, strategic negotiation, complex deal structuring, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Her team has closed over 175 residential sales transactions totaling over $250M across Manhattan and Brooklyn, with a particular focus on the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, and Brooklyn's premier brownstone neighborhoods including Brooklyn Heights, BoCoCa, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, and Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Isil, her husband Bill, and their two children live on the Upper East Side. Having previously lived in the West Village, Gramercy, Nolita, and Cobble Hill, she has firsthand knowledge of many of NYC's most sought-after neighborhoods.  Isil is an active Yale alumna, serving as Class Secretary of Yale College Class of 2004, and has received multiple university awards recognizing her outstanding leadership and longtime service.
