J. Alex Brinson is the Founder & Chairman of Think Brinson Group of Companies, a diversified strategic advisory and investment platform with businesses spanning capital markets, real estate, entertainment, sports, and private investments.

As the founder of Think Brinson Real Estate, Alex advises developers, investors, family offices, executives, entertainers, athletes, and private clients on commercial and residential real estate transactions throughout New York City and Los Angeles. His work combines institutional investment thinking with the personalized service of a boutique advisory practice, helping clients navigate acquisitions, dispositions, development opportunities, strategic partnerships, and complex real estate transactions.

Real estate has been a lifelong passion. Raised in a Philadelphia real estate family, Alex began reviewing investment properties with his father at the age of eight. Today, his family continues to own, operate, and manage a multifamily residential portfolio throughout the greater Philadelphia region, providing a foundation rooted in long-term ownership and value creation.

Beyond brokerage, Alex is an entrepreneur and strategic advisor who has participated in the launch and growth of multiple ventures across real estate, hospitality, technology, education, and private enterprise. Through Think Brinson Group of Companies, he works with developers, entrepreneurs, investors, family offices, and institutions on capital formation, institutional financing, strategic partnerships, and long-term business growth.

Alex is also an accomplished actor and producer. A graduate of The Juilliard School, he has appeared in Travelers (Netflix), All Rise (CBS/OWN), and American Sports Story (FX/Hulu), produced by Ryan Murphy. He also studied television producing and post-production at the Vancouver Film School, further strengthening his understanding of both the creative and business sides of the entertainment industry.

Committed to community impact, Alex supports organizations that expand educational and artistic opportunities for young people and is affiliated with Arts Without Boundaries, a nonprofit organization serving youth in West Philadelphia through performing arts and literacy programming.

Alex is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Brokerage services are provided through Compass, one of the nation's leading real estate brokerages.
