About Jaime
Jaime is a native Michigander who fell in love with the nation’s capital and is proud to call it home. She's leveraged her law degree, professional coaching certification, education work, and a passion for real estate into one holistic package for her clients—finding the perfect home in a neighborhood that meets their needs. As a former AmeriCorps volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, where she helped build a 100 home neighborhood post Hurricane Andrew, she has a keen eye for a home’s potential and loves finding unique solutions to interesting homeowner challenges.   She first moved to Washington, DC, in 2000 to attend Georgetown Law School, graduating in 2003 and passing the NY Bar the same year. In the past twenty five plus years in the DC area, she's lived in Silver Spring, Adams Morgan, Bloomingdale, Columbia Heights, Petworth, Forest Glen, and Takoma DC.

Jaime thrives on working with thoughtful, curious clients who appreciate a data-driven approach, clear communication, and strategic decision-making. Her Ideal clients value expertise, seek to be well-informed, and trust in a collaborative process—whether they’re first-time buyers, sellers navigating their next chapter, or policy-minded professionals making a smart move. Jaime balances market insights with deep empathy, ensuring that every client feels heard, prepared, and empowered. The goal isn’t just to close deals—it’s to ensure that a year down the road, clients still feel great about their choices, their investment, and their home. With a commitment to putting people over transactions and anticipating client needs to keep the process as smooth as possible, Jaime is the agent of choice for those who want a knowledgeable and client-focused real estate experience.

She genuinely loves her work, and a lot of her free time is spent on work-related research projects. But if she's not working, she enjoys being politically engaged—election nights are her Super Bowl, and she walked down the aisle to The West Wing theme song. She loves traveling and has currently visited 48 US States and 23 Countries and counting. She's a very proud aunt to six nephews and five nieces and works hard to earn the distinction of being ā€œfiercely loyalā€ to her closest friends and family. She lives in Takoma DC, with her husband, Benjamin, a federal government IT programmer, and their three rescue cats in a home they "finished" renovating in 2024 (the project list doesn't ever really end, does it?).

Client Testimonials

"We have just completed the process of selling our family home and I am compelled to give my review of how the process went. First, and foremost, Jaime is the most proficient and professional agent that I have worked with. I am a retired and Urban Designer that has worked both nationally and internationally and know that the buying and selling process can result in high amounts of stress."

"Jaime was far beyond what most will do in this process. She did the research on our property before we actually contracted with her to sell the property. Once we were formally engaged she handled everything related to clearing the house of furniture, keeping us informed with regular updates on every action that we needed to do as sellers, and was incredibly knowledgeable of the neighborhood that I have lived in for over 50 years."

"The neighborhood that I live in has always been a desired location in Washington DC and when word got out that we were selling the house there were a plethora of attempting to represent our family. Jaime was far beyond what other were proposing. I live across the street from the property that we were selling, which provided an excellent opportunity to observe her actions in showing the house. She was just amazingly flawless and so on point with everything that needed to be done."

"Jaime’s professional interpersonal skills makes it very easy to talk with her…she listens exceptionally well and gives solid feed-back that effectively presents options for our consideration. When engaging with her it’s like she is a member of our family with the objective of representing and protecting our interests and desires. More importantly, she understands the nuance vibe of the neighborhood which enabled her to effectively present the property to potential buyers (over 100 people looked at the house)."

"I must also mention that she completed all of what was necessary to do to sell the property within six months during the Fall and Winter in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.. simply amazing. I would highly recommend securing Jaime’s services if anyone was interested in selling or buying property. I have given out all of her cards that I had to both my friends and professional associates…even while on the golf course! Finally, I have to also mention that Jaime and KVS Title worked so well together that there was simply no stress in the process…it reminded me of a symphonic harmony."

"I want to write the most amazing review for simply one of the most gifted and brilliant realtors you will ever have the pleasure to work with when finding the home of your dreams. My fear is anyone who reads this will think Jaime Willis paid me to do it! She did not, lol."

"I needed to find an adorable and peaceful home for me and my mentally challenged, yet lovable dog, Sammy. I was living in Massachusetts when the search began and did not have the time nor the inclination to travel down to DC to find it. I trusted Jaime sooooo much we made an offer on a Bungalow in MD, right across the DC border, sight unseen (well me!). She negotiated a better price for me, and she worked beautifully with the seller's agent. Nothing ever felt difficult, or stressful for me, but I know it must have been incredibly challenging for Jaime during the Covid-19 era to make multiple trips to the property without me, and to know that her client was entrusting and expecting her to make decisions so that I could focus on other critical matters in my life. Imagine that stress when half a million bucks is on the line? Jaime took on the challenge with grace and kindness."

"Before the closing she made sure my home was professionally cleaned (who does that?!), she helped me find the right alarm system, she installed (herself!) a NEST thermostat so I could control my home's HVAC remotely cause I travel often, she bought a cute dog bowl for my pooch, and put soap and other supplies in my bathrooms. She even had my lawn mowed so it looked extra posh. I mean, come on, who does these things? Jaime Willis DOES!!"

"Jaime is highly intelligent, an attorney training, with real estate acumen second to none. She made it fun, exciting, and meaningful. You will not only fall in love with your new home if you work with Jaime, you will fall in love with her! I am gay so I can say that, lol."

"Jaime thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this single dog dad happier than he could have ever imagined."

"As for those reading this, Jaime, in two words, is a saintly star.
