About James
After over 42 years in the Laguna and South Orange County markets Jim’s name is synonymous with luxury real estate, his incomparable local expertise and connections have made him the go to agent of Hollywood stars, directors, producers, and seasoned real estate investors worldwide, not to mention his many clients that he sells their first family home, retirement home or their children’s first homes. Jim has the best referral network in the business.

Jim’s style is resolutely hands-on in phases of the transaction. Jim treats his clients to the most attentive service and comprehensive strategic real estate planning, from identifying desirable neighborhoods and developing targeted home tour itineraries to designing an aggressive marketing campaign and leveraging his vast network of contacts on their behalf.

After years of remodeling and reselling high-end properties, Jim has a finely tuned talent for assessing value and potential. Clients regularly seek his advice on the ins and outs of the local remodeling/building process. He also has a famously unerring eye for home staging — one more thing he doesn’t leave to others. Jim has learned these skills from his several high-end Design clients he represents.

Jim attended California State University at Fullerton after two years of active duty in the Naval Reserves during the Vietnam era. This experience along with his background in competitive sports once ranked as the number one diver in California and training for the Mexico Olympics taught him the importance of determination and stamina.
