"I used James as my realtor and highly recommend him. His knowledge and experience saved us a lot of money. Especially in the crazy real estate market of the Bay Area. My wife had been looking for a house and found the one she really wanted. Unfortunately, someone put a bid in right before we did. James suggested we do not go into a bidding war and to put in a "secondary" offer as he felt the other offer would not go through. Well the other buyers did not work out and our lower-priced secondary offer was accepted before it went back on the market. James also told us he thought the house was overpriced for the area. He said if it appraised lower from what we offered we would go back to the bargaining table. Well once again he was right, so we went and offered less again due to appraisal. He suggested we do offer something over the appraisal to "get" the house. We did and it was accepted and we still got the house for a lot less than our first original offer!! Great job James, did I also mention this was a V.A. loan which sometimes can be harder to work with. Not only did James work with this kind of loan he also worked directly with our loan officer to make our loan and home buying go smoothly. "We moved next to James 5 years ago. During that time my husband was laid off for two years. Money was tight, savings gone and living on only my income.
