About James
Ransom House is the real estate practice of James Ransom, a Compass agent based in downtown Huntington Beach.
James was born in Lakewood and has lived in Huntington Beach since 1995. He studied business and marketing at Cal State Long Beach, began his career on one of Orange County's top producing teams, and in 2017 became the founding Compass agent in Huntington Beach. Ransom House grew out of that move, built on a simple premise: results without sacrificing service.
The work runs along the coast, from Naples in Long Beach through Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. Much of it has been in downtown Huntington Beach, where James has represented the new residences at ShoreHouse on Main Street alongside the custom homes on the numbered streets.
