Jamie Adams

A West Texas native, Jamie has spent a lifetime embodying the spirit of Texas in his pioneering entrepreneurial spirit, negotiating on behalf of others and carving a path of success from very humble beginnings on the cotton fields of the Texas panhandle.

He moved to the Metroplex in the early 80’s and found himself at home in Tarrant County. Working numerous odd jobs to make ends meet, he acquired his real estate broker’s license and was noticed by local professionals for his astute attention to detail, negotiating skill and personalized service.

Friends that know him speak of how he ‘simply goes the extra mile’.

Within a short time, he was working alongside some of the most influential individuals in Texas. He has represented Texas real estate and property needs of every kind and scale and has referred and served clients nationally and internationally.

Since the 80’s his business has grown and received numerous accolades, rewards, designations and increased in scale, however the most rewarding to him are the people that have been a part of his growth, with relationships at the heart of anything he achieves.

With a central location to all North Texas, his team offices within and manages the Centerfield Office Suites at The Ballpark in Arlington and are required to reflect his highest expectations and philosophies. “While I may not say it often enough, I feel daily gratitude for the partners that work alongside me daily,” Jamie says his team and business associates don’t work for him, but with him.

Jamie started his Real Estate career in 1985 and joined Compass in 2018. He and his wife Amber along with their boys are involved in many community events and charities and prefer a ‘behind the scenes’ approach in giving of time and resources. They feel that teaching children the art of respect and giving back humbly has the capacity to grow upon itself, as generations of others understand the importance of helping those around them. They are happy to lend a hand and are rewarded most by the friendships gained.

True success, in Jamie’s opinion, is living by “Sermon’s We See”, a poem written by Edgar Guest. He’d rather see a sermon by example of self and others, than hear one any day. In his business, he continues giving beyond expectations, that of his time and availability and providing a strong and knowledgeable history of negotiation on behalf of others. He strives to live by example, leave a positive impact, and enhance lives of those he has met along the way.
