About Jan
Jan has spent her adult life caring for others. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, Jan began a 21-year nursing career in Houston’s Texas Medical Center. She spent 14 years as an Operating Room Nurse and First Assistant to the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at one of Houston’s most prestigious hospitals, and seven years as the lead nurse at a Houston private school. Throughout her career in medicine, Jan’s compassion and innate understanding of human nature were applied on a daily basis. In 2004, Jan entered the real estate field, fulfilling a lifelong dream. For more than 20 years, her outgoing personality, enthusiasm and drive to serve others have helped propel her to Top Producer status and notable awards and ensured her a loyal client following.

Jan lives in Houston with her husband Michael; they have three adult sons – Kase, Sean and Zach, all UT graduates and a precious grandson! A longtime Houstonian, Jan has deep roots in the community, and devotes time to causes such as the American Cancer Society, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Evelyn’s Park Conservatory and Ronald McDonald House. When she’s not working, Jan enjoys her daily workouts, watching/supporting her favorite sports teams, exploring Houston’s restaurant scene, traveling, baking delicious sweets, and playing pickleball.
