Jan Pappert

Jan has spent her adult life caring for others. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, Jan began a 21-year nursing career in Houston’s Texas Medical Center. She spent 14 years as an Operating Room Nurse and First Assistant to the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at one of Houston’s most prestigious hospitals, and seven years as the lead nurse at a Houston private school. Throughout her career in medicine, Jan’s compassion and innate understanding of human nature were applied on a daily basis. In 2004, Jan entered the real estate field, fulfilling a lifelong dream. For more than 15 years, her outgoing personality, enthusiasm and drive to serve others have helped propel her to Top Producer status and ensured her a loyal client following.

Specializing in residential real estate and new home construction, Jan caters to buyers and sellers in Bellaire, Braes Heights, Meyerland and the West University area. Jan offers concierge service to her clients, empowering buyers by sharing her expertise and relevant data to find the perfect home. Working with sellers, Jan leverages her vast knowledge of marketing and negotiation, bringing to each transaction a focused attention to detail. Creative analysis, innovative solutions and a commitment to excellence define Jan’s approach in representing both buyers and sellers. Jan lives in Houston with her husband Michael; they have three adult sons – Kase, Sean and Zach, all UT graduates - and a sweet Cavalier King Charles named Ellie. A longtime Houstonian, Jan has deep roots in the community, and devotes time to causes such as the American Cancer Society, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Evelyn’s Park Conservatory and Ronald McDonald House Houston. When she’s not working, Jan enjoys daily workouts, exploring Houston’s restaurant scene with her family, baking delicious sweets, and frequenting Houston’s dog parks with Ellie.
