Jane Badeaux

I have been fortunate to call Santa Cruz County my home since childhood. It is an amazingly diverse area, both geographically and culturally, and because of this, it takes a long time to get to know it well from a real estate standpoint. I have been selling real estate continuously and full-time with the Monterey Bay Properties Team since 1987. I have been involved in all phases of real estate sales in Santa Cruz County as both a listing and selling agent for residential and investment properties, including apartment complexes, as well as lots and land, and facilitated 1031 exchanges for both myself and clients. I have developed a broad network and good working relationships with a variety of specialists that pertain to the purchase or sale of real property. I am married to a general contractor who owns his own company, Jon Badeaux Construction, and have two other general contractors in my immediate family. Before becoming a real estate agent, I was a registered nurse for 8 years. Many skills I obtained as a nurse/counselor/educator I have been able to transfer to various aspects of a real estate career: listening and working with people and being a successful negotiator go hand and hand. It has been important to me from the beginning of my career to meet my clients' needs to the best of my abilities, and to know that when we have closed escrow, they are satisfied and feel that they have been well represented.
