Janelle File, the Principal and Co-Founder of the File Group has been active in Orange County's high-end business world for many years. As a respected employee of the Irvine Company, she rose through the ranks and received numerous promotions, while expanding on her roles and responsibilities. In addition to her extensive real estate background, Janelle had clients of major lending institutions, including Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, and other private brokerages nationwide.
She transitioned into real estate 15 years ago and developed her own real estate appraisal firm, where she employed 15 appraisers, servicing all of Southern California from Los Angeles to San Diego. In 2016 Janelle transitioned from appraising to sales. Janelle collaborated with her husband, former PGA Tour sales representative Brandon Goethals, to form a new team that would optimize both of their talents. Seven years later, The File Group ranks among Orange County’s top real estate groups, and has closed over $450 million in career sales.
The File Group has become a constant fixture along the OC coast because they offer a level of client service that is second to none. Janelle loves the entire process and goes above and beyond to ensure her clients’ needs are met. That means answering the phones at any time of day, remaining in constant communication, networking, creating intuitive marketing strategies, and employing aggressive negotiation tactics.
