Jason van Ostrander

Growing up in Santa Fe, immersed in art, architecture, and creative expression, Jason van
Ostrander developed an appreciation for design and the unique character of a home from an early age. A Photography major, Jason has spent more than 35 years as a professional photographer, cultivating a highly trained eye for composition, light, detail, and the distinctive qualities that make a property stand out.

Jason has called Los Angeles home for the past 25 years, after a memorable seven years spent living in Hawaii. His experiences living in Southern California, Santa Fe and Hawaii have given him a deep appreciation for different communities, lifestyles, architecture, and what makes a place truly feel like home. His background in photography naturally informs the way he sees real estate, recognizing the beauty, potential, and story behind each property.

For many years, Jason has also been behind the scenes of his wife’s real estate career, gaining firsthand experience with the business, the market, and the importance of building genuine relationships with clients. After years of watching the process and being part of it, Jason decided the time was right to bring his own perspective and experience to the profession. 

Combining his creative eye, extensive knowledge of Los Angeles, and lifelong passion for architecture and design, Jason brings a thoughtful and distinctive approach to real estate. He understands that finding the right home is about more than a property, it’s about finding the right space, neighborhood, and feeling for each clients.
