Javier Camorlinga

Born and raised in Southern California, I’ve always been drawn to the homes and neighborhoods that give Los Angeles its character. Today, I live in Northeast Los Angeles and work throughout the city and surrounding communities, helping people buy and sell homes that are as interesting and individual as the people who live in them.

My interest in architecture started early. My dad was a contractor, so I grew up spending time on job sites and learning to appreciate how a home is built, not just how it looks. I later studied architecture in college, which gave me an even deeper appreciation for design, craftsmanship, proportion, and the details that make a house special.

That background naturally led me to real estate. I’ve found my niche in homes with character, from historic Craftsman and Spanish-style houses to mid-century modern properties and thoughtfully updated older homes. I’m especially interested in the stories behind these houses, the architects and builders, the original details, the neighborhoods they helped shape, and the ways they can be thoughtfully cared for today.

My approach to real estate is straightforward: I want my clients to feel informed, comfortable, and well represented. Whether I’m helping someone find their first home, navigate the sale of a longtime property, or recognize the potential in a home that needs a little imagination, I bring a mix of market knowledge, curiosity, and a genuine appreciation for the property itself.

My work has taken me across Los Angeles, from Northeast LA and the Eastside to Pasadena and beyond, and I’m continually discovering new neighborhoods, homes, and architectural gems. I especially enjoy working with sellers who have a home with a story to tell and finding creative ways to showcase what makes it unique.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me exploring flea markets for vintage furniture and art, photographing interesting homes around Los Angeles, hiking, or spending time with family. I’m always looking at houses, even when I’m not working, and I’m still just as excited to discover a great one as I was when I first became interested in architecture.
