Javier Cardenas isn’t simply the business of selling homes – he’s in the business of bringing his client’s dreams life. “When my client commits me, I commit my client,” says Javier. “There are some weeks when I spend more time with their family than I do my own.” Javier’s people-first mentality has resulted recognition from his peers, a reputation integrity, and a book of business that is nearly 90% referral-based repeat clientele.

Javier, real estate feels less like a profession and more like a calling. Javier spent much of his childhood bouncing from town to town as his parents sought seasonal work, moving from California the warmer months Oregon farms and Washington orchards before returning to California again in the winter. That all changed in 1985, when Habitat for Humanity built Javier’s family their first home in the Yakima Valley. “I felt a sense of belonging,” says Javier. “I knew from the get-go I wanted to sell real estate. I want to help other people achieve their dreams.”

Always the type to go above and beyond, Javier has stepped into several professional leadership roles beyond his day-to-day duties as an agent. For the past three years, Javier has served at the local as a member the Yakima Association of Realtors and at the state as a member Washington Realtors. While on the state , Javier has spearheaded a wide variety of initiatives ranging from operations cultural diversity fair housing.

Javier’s work often spills into his evenings and weekends, but you can still find him town doing the things he loves most: grabbing a bite to eat with his wife Maclovia, golfing with his son Andrean, shopping with his daughters Angelina and Aria. You can also find him volunteering with the local chapter of Habitat Humanity an effort bring other families the same sense of belonging that the organization brought him in his youth.
