Jean-Luc grew up in France and Luxemburg and received his Master in Management from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), Paris. During his business studies, he participated in exchange programs at UC Berkeley/Haas School of Business, and Cologne University, Germany. Jean Luc began his career as an Insurance Broker at Cabinet Diot SA in Paris, London and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and later focused on political and credit risk insurance. He then joined Andre SA, a Swiss commodity trading firm specializing in countertrade and barter transactions with private and governmental organizations in Eastern Europe, Asia and the Middle East. In 1998, Jean Luc moved to Portland, OR, joining Windermere Real Estate as a real estate broker and relocation specialist in addition to managing the US representation of Galerie d'Art Platini (https://www.galerie-platini.com). In 2007, Jean Luc moved to Palo Alto, continuing his real estate career as an associate with Intero before moving to the Palo Alto office of Alain Pinel Realtors, now Compass. Jean-Luc lives in Palo Alto and is a dual United States and French citizen. His interests include architecture and the arts, history, nature, psychology, foreign languages and humanism.
