We were first time home buyers in our forties with two adult children and thought we would never reach our dream of owning our own home. We thought for sure we would be renting forever. Thanks to Jean, her passion, honesty, integrity and just down right joyful nature as well as her network we found a home and closed within a few short months. We had very strict guidelines and made the process a bit tedious for her but you would never know. She never complained and always responded to our needs as soon as was possible for her. We consider her a life long friend because she went through what can be one of the hardest processes in life with us and was there for us every moment of the way. July 2022. "RIGHT REALTOR WITH THE RIGHT STUFF! Midway through prepping our house for sale, we changed realtors and we are so glad we did. Jean Lynch came on board as a true partner, bringing to the table not only her real estate expertise but also deep experience as an entrepreneur running her own business. And it’s that business brain that distinguishes Jean Lynch from other realtors. The business of selling a house goes well beyond a timeline and checklist of what needs to get done so you can list it on MLS. I had one house to sell, I wanted to ensure it was priced fairly and marketed well. Our large, outdated ranch was built in 1968, situated on an acre of property at the end of a cul-de-sac. The right buyer would care about the location, the lot size, the bones of the house and the expansive basement, in short: the potential of the house. And the right realtor would see the best of what our property was as well as what it could be transformed into. Jean turned out to be more than just the right realtor. The right realtor with the right stuff! A seasoned marketer myself, I was happily surprised when Jean proposed marketing tactics that are not in the average realtor’s playbook, like leveraging a feature of MLS to “reverse market” to realtors who indicated they had buyers looking in our area, buying Facebook advertising to promote within specific zip codes, extending promotion of our MA home to southern NH as well, dropping a direct mail piece promoting our property (a cost that came out of her own pocket and something she turned around not just with lightning speed but high quality), displaying the QR code for our home details at the Open House, to name a few. When it came to negotiations, Jean also demonstrated she had “the right stuff”. She vetted each offer, helped us narrow it down to two, each of which had an escalation clause. After discussing strategy with her, we opted to follow her recommendation to put the escalation clause aside and ask the buyers to come back with their best and final offers. The highest was $150K over list with seller financing or $120K over list with bank financing. The other was a cash offer $75K over list with no contingencies and no inspection. Jean was totally on top of things every step of the way, very responsive, forthright and honest in her dealings. She has high standards for the quality of service she provides for her clients and consistently delivered excellence every step of the way in the process of selling our home. In that process she earned my trust, my respect and my affection. Her agency is fortunate to have someone of Jean Lynch’s caliber on their team."
