About Jeff
Growing up in a family of real estate entrepreneurs, Jeff knew from a young age that he would have his hand in real estate sooner than later. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Finance from the University of Miami, and began his career at Marcus & Millichap in commercial real estate, where he supported the Tiktin Commercial Real Estate Group of South Florida.
 
While in Miami, Jeff played semi-pro soccer for Miami FC briefly before starting his residential real estate career. He received his Florida real estate license and joined The Thomson Team at Coldwell Banker, a top team in South Florida in terms of units sold. Initially, Jeff focused on rentals, single-family homes and foreclosure properties. He developed a student housing page for the University of Miami that is still widely used today. Later, joining RE/MAX, he specialized in condominium units throughout the Downtown Miami and Brickell areas for several years before relocating back home to Potomac, Maryland.
 
Jeff co-opened 1831 Bar & Lounge in July of 2015; since then he received his DC real estate license and became a proud member of the Babbington Team at Compass. With his diverse real estate background, entrepreneurial endeavors, and deep relationships with multiple local communities, Jeff continues to expand his successes in the DC, Maryland, Virginia and Florida real estate industries. 

Now having over a decade of experience working in real estate, Jeff has grown to become a top agent and Senior Vice President at the #1 brokerage in the DMV, Compass. As a partner of the Babbington Team with over $200 million sold over the last six years, Jeff has accrued local relationships with many homeowners, top lenders, licensed contractors, and title attorneys. Known for his competitive nature in tense offer situations and knack for negotiating, he strives to win his clients their dream homes and to make the process as seamless as possible during the process. 
 
His hobbies include soccer, traveling, fishing, hiking, watching sports & live music and spending time with family and friends.
