"When my mother passed away in 2014 she left two houses to me to sell the two properties. I was overwhelmed by the task at hand but remembered that Jeff was an experienced Alameda realtor. The first phone call I made to him proved him to be sympathetic, efficient and took most of the details. Trying to sell two homes located next-door to each other was a daunting task. Jeff recommended, after much discussion, to keep the rental and sell the residence since it would take a while to empty the residence. He had the names and phone numbers of the necessary contacts to help with the numerous tasks to prepare the home for sale. After a few bumps in the road, there were 4 offers which resulted in about two months of negotiations but after that the house was sold for very near the asking price. Three years later, having moved to Santa Rosa, I decided to sell the rental. From the first phone call to Jeff to the final signatures took all of two months.
Jeff knows all the legal issues, has the humility to ask for help as needed and, as a lifelong resident of Alameda knew people who could expedite the process. The sale wrapped up while I was delayed in Washington state so the final papers were all signed electronically. The young couple and family who purchased the house wanted the home so much that they paid over the asking price. The entire process from listing to closing was about a month.
