About Jeff

Jeff is a successful agent with over twenty years of experience. His connections and network are vast, so he has a wealth of knowledge to help clients who are relocating to or from the area make a smooth transition.

As a competitive athlete, Jeff loves a challenge. Striving for excellence, being part of a team, and his natural competitiveness are all qualities he brings to the table. Whether it’s for a first-time homebuyer or completing a marathon in Antarctica. (yep -he’s done that so ask him about it!)

He applies the same principles of setting a personal goal in a race to any real estate transaction he does. Jeff has a soothing and charming way of guiding clients with patience, discipline, and the tenacity to overcome any obstacles while staying focused on the goal. He loves working with first-time homebuyers to make the process of getting into their new homes a comfortable and easy transition. He takes the time to understand his clients’ underlying motivations about their purchase to figure out how he can help them achieve more than they hoped. And his clients come out ahead because of it.

When representing sellers, his creativity and innovation on every marketing campaign is what makes his clients’ homes stand out in a crowded market. For example, he’s developed a decade’s long partnership with Zillow. This means his knowledge of the platform and his Premier Agent status often allow him to double their exposure which leads to more viewings, more offers, and a higher sales price. Combine that with his tough negotiation skills and you’ll typically see Jeff’s listings selling for 4.8% higher than the average San Mateo County agent.

To make sure his negotiation skills stay sharp Jeff has become a Master Certified Negotiation Expert. Fewer than 0.01% of agents in the U.S. have achieved this. He’s also a certified Green Realtor®, ePro which allows him to leverage technology in protecting and marketing his clients, and Pricing Strategies to strengthen his negotiating advantage for them.

In his free time, you can find Jeff exploring the trails and parks in San Mateo County, preferably with his new rescue dog, Charlie, in tow. People and community matter to Jeff, and giving back is a value he shares with the entire Level Up team. That’s why a portion of every real estate transaction will be donated to the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA or the San Mateo County Parks Foundation. It’s one small way Jeff can help preserve the beautiful pets and nature in the area.

To keep in shape mentally and physically you can find him hiking/running or at Orangetheory Fitness. He was a former college tennis player and a triathlete who completed dozens of races including Ironman Arizona. As a runner, he’s finished 5 marathons, (including the one in Antarctica), and has a goal of completing an ultramarathon.

Jeff earned his JD at the University of San Diego, School of Law where he was President of the Negotiations team and competed nationally. He gained his MBA from Boston University and a BS from Trinity College in Connecticut, where he grew up.
