Jeff Pierce likes to joke that his first real estate contract was written on the same stone tablets that Moses brought down the mountain. Obviously, he hasn’t been involved in the real estate industry that long, but since 1992, Jeff has played a very active role in helping shape the lives of many people throughout Austin and surrounding areas by being a trusted source of information and knowledge for buyers and sellers in the ever-changing real estate market. Jeff’s philosophy of what he does is summed up in one word…..trust.

Jeff Pierce understands and respects the value of trust in any relationship, but most especially in the Realtor/client relationship. He fully understands the importance of valuable time and knowledge, and always puts his client’s interests first and foremost. Jeff has developed keen listening skills and completely understands the difference between hearing and listening. His ability to communicate on all levels and to ask important questions has helped him develop a very diversified client base. Jeff enjoys working with people and has often said that one of his greatest joys in this industry is being able to help folks achieve a major goal in their lives whether it is buying their first home, or selling their last one.

Jeff has been a top producing Realtor since his first year in real estate in 1992. In 1993, he was named Rookie of the Year and Star of the Future with Prudential Texas Realty and has consistently been a top producing agent in the Austin area. He was the top producing individual agent in 2011 with his former real estate brokerage firm. A native Texan and graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler, Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree. Prior to his career in real estate, he was the Director of Employee Safety for the Texas Department of Transportation where he was responsible for the safety of employees throughout the state of Texas. This role gave him great insights into listening to concerns, desires and needs of people – much the same as working with buyers and sellers in a real estate transaction.

Jeff’s experience is varied and wide spread. He has listed and sold properties that had no running water, to ranchlands with the most amazing and pristine views, to homes that have been designed and built from the ground up, to million-dollar mansions with the finest of amenities in exclusive neighborhoods. Jeff’s ability to adapt to all situations and types of clients has worked well for him over the years and he continues to enjoy working in all areas of this industry. Being a waterfront homeowner on Lake Austin for twenty years, he has a special place in his heart for those who want to live near the peaceful and invigorating waters of many of the lakes which surround Austin and the Texas Hill Country, and he “gets it” whenever folks describe wanting to live the “lake life”. Jeff also has an affinity in working with seniors in transitioning from family homes into possible retirement living and has a team of professionals ready to assist in making that transition as easy and trouble-free as possible. He is adept in the processes of the transition and has listed and sold many properties for sellers who have decided to graduate to the resort-style of retirement living.

Growing up in the tall pines of East Texas, Jeff learned at an early age the meaning of trust. As a cattle rancher, his father instilled in him the importance of honesty and integrity and of “keeping his word”. In today’s real estate transactions, the lessons learned from years ago still ring true. Making the choice to work with Jeff Pierce will be choosing to work with a trusted and loyal friend.
