Being first time homeowners in the Bay Area market seemed terrifying and stressful from the outset but the Galli team made the entire process an absolute cakewalk for us. Throughout the entire journey, we felt that the team was always on the lookout for our best interests. "I've worked with several top buyer and seller agents in Mountain View and Los Altos, and the Galli team is in a category of their own - far exceeding expectations. We worked with the team for 4 months and closed on our dream house! I put some details below, but the bottom line is that Michael and his team (Patty, Ola, Jennifer) are not only super competent, responsive and great at their jobs, but they genuinely care about the quality of the work, the client experience and really showed so much caring for us. We consider them great partners and also dear friends! Search - We liked to do the listing searches on our own but supplemented with Galli team's several off-market or pre-listing previews they setup for us. Visiting homes with Michael was HIGH ROI - He has a very meticulous eye and helped us better understand what is workable (now much it would cost to fix) and what was a dealbreaker - from a safety, resale, aesthetic perspective. The team was very responsive to our feedback, prioritized the many issues in the disclosure packets, brought in outside experts when needed. Where Michael was masterful was in pressure testing and helping us clarify our "maybes" to a "no" or a rock solid "hell yes" so we were very prepared and certain when we went to offer stage. Offer - We were considering several homes and Michael and his team kept a very close pulse on developments on each of our interested homes, so we had very sound guidance on strategy, timing and pricing, which all turned out to be very, very accurate. When the opportunity came to make an offer on our dream home, they were on standby every step of the way to make sure we were financially, emotionally, psychologically ready to put forth the best offer we could. We got the home not because we were the highest bidders, but because we had a very strong and compelling offer, and we believe it was also because Michael's reputation for following through to make the process as reliable and positive as possible for all parties - the buyers and the sellers, and agents. Escrow and Onboarding - Once our offer was accepted, we ran into several surprises in the financing and closing, which Galli team helped us work across all parties through to ensure a timely and smooth closing process. We also worked with the team to help us plan what needed to get addressed/fixed and a list of their trusted vendors (e.g. interior designers, movers, fumigation, paint) so that the move-in experience was simple and timely.
