For the greater part of the last decade Jena worked in distribution and sales managing her own marketing and sales company. Jena gained invaluable experience in customer service, sales negotiation, and analyzing market trends.
Jena graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Economics from George Mason University, where she was awarded the highly competitive Mercatus Center Fellowship. During this time, Jena collaborated with leading economists and further refined her expertise in market research and analysis.
In her free time, Jena loves to spend time with her family and enjoys the outdoors. You can find her around town walking the Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail and swimming at Deep Eddy or Barton Springs. She is an avid reader of good mystery books and loves to snuggle up with her cat, Milo.
