As Principal and Broker Associate of the Settled Nomad Real Estate Group at Compass, Jenelle Berry-Cook is dedicated to guiding every client on their unique journey in real estate, leading them through the buying or selling process, and helping them turn their home purchase into a powerful tool for generational wealth.

A Commitment to Client Success
With a combined 15 years of client management and business development experience, and 5 years of real estate transaction experience across North Texas, Jenelle prides herself on her in depth knowledge of the local market, as well as her attention to detail and strategic negotiation skills. Her mission is to deliver “wow” moments that make the buying or selling process not just successful, but genuinely enjoyable. Understanding the complexities involved in real estate transactions, she strives to make them as seamless as possible for her clients.

To date, Jenelle has had the privilege of serving more than 350 families to find homes, help investor clients in deploying more roughly $80 million in investment capital and achieving over $40 million in residential real estate sales. Her deep knowledge of the industry even expands to new home construction, where she is currently leading the development of a 65-home community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, reinforcing her commitment to enhancing the local housing market.

Having grown up in New York City, and lived in Northern California, before settling in Texas - seven years ago - Jenelle excels at assisting clients relocating from these areas. She understands their unique needs and challenges, making her particularly effective in helping to navigate the relocation process into the Greater North Dallas market.

Community Involvement
Beyond her work in real estate, Jenelle is deeply committed to her community, and specifically around causes related to children, education and the development of female entrepreneurs and community leaders. Around town, she currently serves as a board member of the Plano ISD Education Foundation and the Plano Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Plano program. She is also a Mother Member of Jack & Jill of America and a Silver Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

A Family and a Passion for Life
Jenelle now calls Far North Dallas home. On any given Saturday, she and her husband Michael, and their three wonderful children, can be seen out and about in the community —whether it’s a soccer game, swim meet, karate, or any of the local events happening around town. They love exploring everything DFW has to offer and traveling the world. Jenelle has a passion for discovering local wineries and collecting cookbooks and pieces of art from the destinations they visit.

When she’s not busy serving clients or building community connections, Jenelle enjoys experimenting with new recipes alongside her kids or getting lost in a great novel, often with a glass of wine in hand. If anyone shares an interest in California wine or needs tips for visiting Napa’s wine country, she would love to chat!
