Jenni Durgin

I was born and raised in Seattle. It took the perspective of many years away at school for me to fully appreciate the uniqueness of this corner of the country. After moving back home to Seattle and working as a Physical Therapist for many years, I arrived in Bellingham in 2010. My eclectic background in both Physical Therapy and boat building (yes, there was boat school!), plus my interest in homes, made real estate a natural choice. Working as a Physical Therapist requires both skills in observation and education, where boat building helped me understand craftsmanship. When I was 16, my folks built a house in our backyard. What an experience to watch a new home being built and learn all it takes. In the early days, these skills expressed themselves as buying old homes, renovating them, and then selling them on my own. It brings me joy to use my unique skills to help clients find their new home in a neighborhood that fits how they spend their free time. When I am not out with my clients and my daughters are back to school, I enjoy the natural beauty of Bellingham. Whether it be skiing at Mount Baker, riding on Galbraith, or kayaking (or motor boating) around the islands of the Puget Sound.
