Jenny Debell

I’m so pleased to meet you, and please, call me Jenny.

I grew up in Roanoke, earned a BFA in Fine Arts at VCU, and lived for years crisscrossing the state from Southwest Virginia to the Eastern Shore to bike, hike, paddle and visit family and friends. My husband, a New Englander, took me to Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and once our children were grown, Virginia called me home. A professional opportunity dropped me into Charlottesville in 2017 making it full circle; I’m delighted to be able to live in the city where my parents were born and raised, and that I now call home.

I come to real estate after years spent as a writer and project manager in advertising, tech, and publishing. How does that sync with finding every client the perfect home? In a word: listening. Buying a home is never a simple transaction. It’s a thousand small choices that involve finance, geography, family, professional choices, and more. Buying a house is capital B Big.
