"Brooke and I started this house hunting adventure, not knowing what we were getting into. We realized very quickly the market was absolutely insane and being first-time home buyers. We were jumping in with little knowledge of how this works. So we picked out a husband-wife Realtor team that looked good in advertisements that we had come across. They interviewed well, and we worked with them on trying to find us a homemaking one offer with no success. We knew relatively quickly that something was off. We felt blind just throwing whatever dollar value at these houses with little to no input. Their communication was subpar as well, but we had nothing to compare it to. Now, let's rewind 6 months or more to Brooke and I looking at homes on our own just window shopping, just going to open houses, and whatnot. We had sent my mother a listing that we were looking at, and somehow, within the link, we sent my mother had come into contact with Jenny. From the get-go, my mother said that Jenny was the person we needed to be dealing with, Jenny and my mother stayed in touch for those 6 months even though she was not home shopping. Back to the present time where we had our sub-par real estate team couple, we decided that they were not doing the job we needed them to do, especially in this market, and let them go hoping to find something better. We interviewed a couple of other Realtors after that point, and our last interview was with Jenny. After our zoom meeting, we knew this is who we needed on our team. We had no idea what we were missing, the level of communication, the information provided on the houses of interest, upon offer time the comparable properties to make educated decisions on offers, Jenny was the all-star we were looking for! Jenny took a difficult market and made it work for us. She didn't just tell us what we wanted to hear but told us exactly how it was and what we needed to know. She had our back and fought for us. It was a complete 180-degree change from the lackluster Realtor couple that we started this process with. We ended up with the perfect home for us, which is hard to say in this market. A resident of Austin for almost a decade and a half, Jenny is also proud to note that her family chose to move to Austin and make it home. And through her business, she has been able to help countless other families and individuals from other parts of Texas and across the country call Austin home too.
